I AM following a walkthrough for PP because I just want to get to the story. Speaking of system, I’m generally not having too many problems with it but I haven’t actually played any of the routes that are supposingly problematic (Masaomi, Kaname, Iori). I prefer that much over silence or the overusage of kimi/omae/ko no ko. I’m really digging the “new” trend in otome games that if you leave the default name it would be said. I wish Ema’s name is actually said out loud though. The family events are all really great though and it shows a side of the Asahina family that isn’t linked to romance but just acting as a family. I have never heard a character stutter so much. Hats off to Ono Daisuke for having to do so many lines while stuttering. I get that Juli is there to protect Ema from her brothers but the over-reactions get old and I’m like ok squirrel calm down don’t get in the way of Ema’s romance. she’s pretty sharp with Kaname though it’s pretty funny. I can seriously do without another heroine who’s oblivious to her surroundings. There were times where I was like HOW DID YOU NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT HE MEANT?! I don’t have problems with Ema really but I do wish she was less typical shoujo heroine-y. Everytime I think I might be coming to terms with him it’s like LOL NOPE! I hope his route can redeem him but right now every event I’ve seen with him I’m like (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ I know a lot of people love Fuuto but his over-namaiki-ness grates me in the nerves. The first 3 are in my whatever-shrug category and the last one is in my shitlist right now There are a few brothers I’m going to have to motivate myself to play through: Ukyou, Kaname, Hikaru and Fuuto. No serious copypasta personalities to fit 13 of them. I find all the brothers pretty well done thus far in terms of character. 
Seeing that the last game I completed was Norn9 which was about wars, family life is nice and fluffy. I’m playing both games together but I honestly wish I completed Passion Pink before starting Brilliant Blue because they cleaned up the system a lot in Brilliant Blue so I’ve paused playing BB until I finish PP.Īll in all these are a fun and light set of games to play (I know there’s a certain character who is darker but I haven’t gotten there yet!). I know I’m late to the party but ┐(´-｀)┌ I’m always late to the party. Playing Brothers Conflict Passion Pink and Brilliant Blue right now.
